Laser removal can be suitable for the majority of clients, but a full consultation is always required to confirm that it’s safe and effective for your individual needs. You’re likely a good candidate if: • You’re in general good health. • Your tattoo or PMU has fully healed (usually 8–12 weeks minimum). • You’re not pregnant or breastfeeding. • You’re not on any photosensitive medication. • Your skin is free from active irritation, sunburn or infection. • You understand that multiple sessions may be required.

Avoid sun exposure and fake tan on the area • Do not apply makeup or skincare on treatment areas • Stop retinols or acids 2 weeks prior • Avoid tanning beds • Stay hydrated • Ensure the area is not irritated or damaged You’ll receive full pre-care instructions when booking

This varies depending on: • The age of the tattoo. • Ink depth & density. • Pigment ingredients (especially for PMU). • Your skin type. • Location on the body. • Whether you want full removal or just lightening. On average: • PMU brows: 1–4 sessions • PMU lips/liner: 1–3 sessions • Body tattoos: 4–12 sessions A personalised plan will be given during your consultation.

Healing after laser tattoo removal is generally straightforward, but it’s important to follow aftercare instructions so your skin heals properly and the pigment continues to break down. Here’s what you can expect: Immediately after your session It’s normal to experience: • Redness • Swelling • Warmth or tingling • Frosting (a temporary white/grey film) • Mild tenderness • Pin-point bleeding in some cases These reactions usually settle within a few hours to 2 days Days 2-7 - Surface Healing During this stage, the skin may: • Feel dry or tight • Form light scabbing or flaking • Itch slightly (a sign of healing) • Look darker before it fades — this is normal Keep the area clean, dry and avoid picking. Allow any scabs or flakes to fall away naturally. Weeks 1-4 - Pigment breakdown continues Below the surface, your lymphatic system is working to flush away the shattered pigment particles. You may notice: • Gradual lightening • Patchy or uneven fading at first • Subtle changes in colour or density This stage is where most of the fading happens

Laser removal may not be appropriate if: • You have very dark, freshly tanned or sunburned skin. • You have certain medical conditions that delay healing. • You’re prone to keloid scarring. • You have extremely sensitive or reactive skin. • The pigment contains ingredients that may react unpredictably (common in older PMU). • You’re hoping for instant results removal is a gradual process.
